Sasha the white dog

Sasha is a 22x28 oil painting/commission of a cute white hairy dog. SoLD! They were quite happy to get this oil painting on canvas size 22x28.. They wanted the colors bright but yet not too bright.. whatever that meant.. but bottom line they were happy.. which meant I'm happy.. yeahh.. i aim to please!!!

Sacramento Center of fine arts and Auburn Old Town Gallery

The animal house show (it's a zoo out there) is coming up at Sac. Center of fine arts in Carmichael Ca. Google them for more info. I am honored to say I was asked to be the juror for the 2d art. Hand walk entries the first week of February. This is a great show featuring animals in theme. I also just got into Auburn Old Town Gallery on Washington St in Auburn. I've been waiting at least 3-4 years to get into this gallery. Am very pleased. I set up a small display there a few dAys ago. Long time coming. There a lot of high quality art in this gallery. Am very pleased to be able to join this group of artists at the gallery.

This weekend July 19th Satur and July 20th Sunday at the Artists Collaborative Gallery in Old Sacramento CA

Its been a while since I've blogged. This coming weekend I will be at the Kennedy Gallery all day on Satur, working on several paintings out on the deck at the Kennedy Gallery at 20th and L in Midtown/Sacramento, come on by and introduce yourself@! I will also be at the Artist's Collaborative Gallery at 129 K ST. in Sacramento all day on Sunday. Lots of good art to see... stop on by and say hello!!

Schnauzers.. ( i have no idea how to spell this!)

These 3 paintings have just been finished for someone thats commissioned me. She has 6 dogs, but only wanted 3 painted. Favoritism don't you think? All of theme are 16x20, She wanted them all loose. at this point, something has changed. The universe seems to continue to open up doors for me regarding my art..simply amazing. Commissions keep coming in, and other opportunities to grow my long awaited art career continue to happen. Things have changed, smile...

August 15th: One of my special paintings Caroljean and Charlie won a set of pastels at the "Pastels in the Lite Show" in Carmichael. This painting will ALSO be on the cover of the Journal of the Veterinary Medical Association mid August of this year which has over 84,000 readers!!! My girl CarolJean and Cat Charlie are STARS!!!
